The Xperia M2 comes outfitted with and 8 megapixel rear camera along with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM, making it a decent choice for a mid-range handset. Despite its attractive design and adequate specifications, Sony has chosen to price it a little higher than it should have. While it can be purchased for around $300 in the U.S., its prices range between $330 and $400 across Europe and India, which leaves it having to compete with some aggressive competitons from the likes of the Motorola Moto X and the Google Nexus 5.
With its competitors offering a better value for money, the Xperia M may only find homes in the hands of hardcore Sony fans who are looking for something cheaper than the flagship Xperia Z2.
