Samsung sends out invites for April 29 event

Samsung
Samsung has sent out an invite on April 29th, at the Red Dot Design Museum in Singapore for an event it calls Samsung Media Day. The invite reads "Kapture the moment," and is accompanied by a large letter'K'. The event is clearly photography related and it could be tied to Samsung's Galaxy S5 Zoom, which is rumored to be called the Samsung Galaxy K.

The Galaxy K is expected to feature a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED display with a 720 by 1280 pixel resolution, a 20MP rear camera with 10x optical zoom, Xenon flash, a 2MP front facing camera, and a six-core Samsung Exynos 5 Hecta processor with the Mali-T624 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The device is expected to run Android 4.4.2 out of the box along with the latest version of Samsung's TouchWiz interface and a customized rich camera interface.

We will have to wait for the April 29th event for more information like the Galaxy K launch date and pricing.
