Waze launches Android beta program

Google owned Waze has just started a beta program for their Waze for Android application.Waze is a driver generated maps and real-time road information application. The maps delivered through waze are crowdsourced and they are updated much faster than those provided by map industry giants.

Unfortunately this is not an open beta, meaning that you will have to have to sign-up and get an invite in order to join the fun. Once you're in the program, you'll be treated to new features before they make it to the official release. You'll also be responsible for helping the team "find bugs and issues, providing valuable feedback on old & new features, and suggesting ways to make the app function even better".  As a reward you will get to access to the latest version of Waze ahead of the general public, and the team is even planning to give away some prizes for the top testers.

You will have to fill out a form with some basic information telling the Waze team why you want to be a part of the beta. Once they have reviewed your information, you may or may not be selected to join the beta.
