Verizon has just announced a new World Messaging Unlimited plan for customers who send a lot of international texts, or make international calls. You will be charged $5 per month per line for unlimited texts sent to most countries. Meanwhile you will be charged 1 cent per minute calling Canada or Mexico, while calls to the Caribbean and Central America are rung up at the price of 5 cents per minute.
Verizon is offering those who sign up for the the World Messaging Unlimited plan a $15 savings, by making the first three months free. If you make international texts and call often to Mexico, Canada, Central America and the Caribbean, this would seem like a deal worth checking out. However Verizon has stated that this is a limited time offer, so make sure you don't miss out on it.
