Nokia Lumia 929 leaks in a new hands on video and photo

While Nokia World brought us a whole new lineup of devices, that doesn't mean the Finnish company has revealed everything they have in their pipeline. The Nokia Lumia 929 for Verizon is meant to be the successor to the Nokia Lumia 928 and Verizon's custom variant of the Nokia Lumia 1520. While you get a 5 inch 1080p display instead of a 6 inch one, the 20 megapixel PureView camera and the quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor are very present.

Now, a leaker in the Windows Phone Central forums  has posted a new photo and even a hands on video with the device.

While the video is just 45 seconds in length we do get to see the About screen and get a brief look at the device. The device is clearly similar to the Lumia 928 in design with a squarish front and a rounded back for comfortable handling. Unlike the Windows Phones we usually see from Nokia, Verizon's devices tend to stick to darker colors, like the matte black finish of this Lumia 929. Also the video shows that the handset comes with a dual-LED flash, instead of the Xenon flash, which came with the Lumia 928.

While there is no clear release date, the leakster has mentioned it should be out "around Thanksgiving time".

The leaker has also mentioned that the device is unlocked, like most of Verizon’s devices, while means it should work on the AT&T or T-Mobile network by simply inserting the relevant SIM into the device.
