The Apple iPhone 5s and Apple iPhone 5c are now available for purchase



The Apple iPhone 5s and the Apple iPhone 5c are now available for purchase in the U.S. and around the world. The first batch of devices will first reach 11 markets, though it will eventually spread its availability across 100 countries and 270 carriers worldwide.

The first place you can look for one of the new iPhones is the Apple Store. Stores in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, the UK, and the US, will have the devices starting 12:01AM local time in each respective country (and 12:01 PST for the USA).

If you don't like to make your purchase online, you can head over to your local store starting at 8:00AM, all Apple retail stores will start selling the new iPhones, irrespective of country. You can also contact your local retailers and carriers for more information.

The Apple website is the U.S. is offering the iPhone 5s at $199 with a signed two-year pact for the 16GB model, $299 for the 32GB version and $399 for the 64GB variant. Unlocked, the phone is priced at $649, $749 and $849 for 16GB, 32GB and 64GB respectively. The phone is available in Gold, Silver and Space Gray. Changes from the prior full-feature model include the fingerprint sensor under the home button, a more advanced 8MP camera, and longer battery life.


Meanwhile the colorful iPhone 5c which replaces the Apple iPhone 5 from last year costs $99 with a two-year contract for the 16GB model and $199 for the 32GB version. Unlocked, the 16GB and 32GB models are available for $549 and $649 respectively. Available in Green, White, Blue, Yellow and Rose, the device supports more LTE bands than any other current smartphone.


Customers in the U.S. can also purchase the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c through various carriers and retailers. The carriers give users the option to get the iPhones at lower prices with different plans and services, so we advise U.S. customers to visit the carrier and retailer websites to find the best offer on a new iPhone before purchasing. Even retails like Walmart and Best Buy have offers and discounts on the new iPhones.
