Just like with the Microsoft Xbox One the Sony PlayStation 4 is also available for pre-order through a number of retailers. It is available both as a standalone console and bundled with various games.
The PlayStation 4 has been priced at $399 which is $100 lower than the asking price of the new Xbox One. Ordering the device right now will guarantee you can be among the first to own the console when it arrives this holiday season. Unfortunately none of the retailers have a firm release date on when you can get your hands on the device.
Both Amazon, Best Buy and Sony are offering the console at the $399 price that Sony announced at their press conference. Amazon has listed December 31, 2013 as the shipping date. However it is very likely it will ship before then.
GameStop is also offering the PlayStation 4 on pre-order but only as part of a bundle. You can get the console bundled with games like Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack, NBA Live 14, Drive Club or a collection of EA sports titles, with prices starting at $459.98.
You can also get these PlayStation 4 titles through other retailers, and they are priced at $60 which is the same price as regular PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 titles. Thats a reasonable price considering that they offer improved graphics and performance.
