Samsung Galaxy S III for Verizon receives connectivity bug fixing OTA update

The Samsung Galaxy S III for Verizon is now receiving a new OTA update (VRBMF1) which is said to fix problems caused by an update which was released last month. The update in question was 129.1MB in size and brought several features like multi-window multi-tasking, Paper Artist and Best Shot. Unfortunately the update caused the device to receive only 2 bars where it would generally receive 4 bars of Verizon LTE connectivity.

The update rollout should continue through Wednesday and Thursday, so be sure to keep your eye out for it if you are a Verizon customer with a Galaxy S III. If you have received the update, leave us a comment and let us know if it fixed the connectivity issue

The Galaxy S III for Verizon  features a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED HD display, 8 megapixel intelligent camera in the rear which is capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary front facing camera which is capable of 720p HD video capture, up to 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, NFC connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM.
