HTC One first orders receive $25 Google Play credit

The HTC One was supposed to be the first big Android flagships to arrive in 2013, but its launch has been pushed back several times due to issues with manufacturing and supply of its Ultrapixel camera. Now it has to share its launch beside the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S IV.

Now with the supply issues ironed out but HTC wants to reward customers who choose the HTC One over any of the competitors products. They are doing this by giving away $25 Google Play gift cards to those who have placed their orders on the first days.

Customers will receive an email from HTC which reads as follows:
“We realize that your shipment was unexpectedly delayed, but we hope that your new HTC One has been worth the wait! Thanks for your patience and understanding. We appreciate your loyalty to HTC, and as a gesture of our thanks, we would like to give you a complimentary $25 Google Gift Credit.”

HTC has a hard road ahead, especially against heavy competition from Samsung. We hope that this smartphone has what it takes to show customers that HTC designs some of the best hardware in the smartphone market.
