Samsung Galaxy S 4 Antutu benchmark results leaked, reveals specifications

Several rumors of the Samsung Galaxy S IV have been circulating around and some of them contradict others. For example the Qualcomm CPU is cited as the processor which will power the handset instead of Samsung’s own octo-core Exynos chip. Today some Antutu benchmark tests have leaked, giving us a clear idea of what type of processor Samsung will be using to power their upcoming flagship device.

The first confirmation is of the Exynos 5410 processor, which is clocked at 1.8GHz with a 4+4 core setup. The device is expected to run  and is also expected to be  a world phone with GSM/WCDMA/LTE network setting, instead of having carrier specific variants. Apple has found success is releasing a world phone in the iPhone and it is not surprising that Samsung is following the same plan with their own handset.

The Galaxy S IV is expected to feature 4.99 inch touch display with a 1080 by 1920 pixel resolution, up to 32GB of internal storage, a 13 megapixel rear camera, a secondary 1.2 megapixel camera for video calls, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 2GB of RAM. There was a previous speculation of a 64GB model, but Samsung doesn't have to offer high storage as users will always have the option of expanding theirs with microSD.

At this point there is no guarantee that Samsung wont release a different Qualcomm powered variant of the handset nor is there a assurance that these tests are real. We have very little time left to confirm all these rumors when Samsung finally unveils their new Galaxy S IV flagship to the world on March 14th.
