Lenovo Yoga 11S announced with Intel processor and full Windows 8
The Lenovo Yoga 11S has been announced to by the manufacturer who is expecting to release the device in June. This tablet-ultrabook hybrid will be available in multiple models with the base model costing $799 and featuring a 11.6 inch display with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, a Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB of memory and 128GB of solid state storage. You will probably get a chance to take a look at this device in person if you are visiting the ongoing CES is Las Vegas.
You have options with up to 256GB of storage, 8GB of RAM, Core i7 processors and up to 1600 x 900 pixel resolution.
The Lenovo Yoga 13 is a currently available alternate which offers a similar Intel powered full Windows experience for those looking for a larger display.
The second alternate is the Lenovo Yoga 11 which features a similar design but is powered by the an NVidia Tegra 3 processor and Windows RT. But with the Yoga 11S which has an Intel processor inside, they have the option to run full Windows apps on Windows 8 instead of being limited to the RT catalog on the Windows Store. The Yoga 11 is still lighter and thinner than it’s Intel powered sibling.
Similar to the other Yoga models the Yoga 11S features a keyboard than can rotate 360 degrees to suite your every need, from a traditional laptop to a touchscreen tablet. The Yoga 11S claims to offer up to 6 hours of battery life which will be quite impressive for a tablet which weighs less than 3 pounds.
