Nokia Belle Feature Pack 2 leaks, new features demonstrated

A leaked video shows off features of the upcoming Nokia (Symbian) Belle Feature Pack 2 (FP2) update. The update is available for testing to registered Nokia developers who can view its features on an emulator through RDA (Remote Device Access).

Nokia Belle FP2 which is supposedly the last version of Symbian from Nokia brings several new features including a new swipe to unlock, update camera UI, new navigation bar, widgets and improved transition effects.

The video shows some of the new features including an updated keyboard which is now predictive and has word completion. Other updates include a new web browser, gallery and image editor. The music player can now be controlled through the notification bar. Nokia has still to officially announce the Belle FP2 update or the devices which will be in line to receive it. While we don’t expect any new hardware to accompany the update, we expect the will be front in line to receive it.
