Sony is now rolling out the Android 4.0.3 update for the clamshell shaped Sony Tablet P. Users will receive an alert on their device informing them of the update availability following which they can install it.
Sony has reported that Android 4.0.3 brings a new UI to the tablet, and will offer the option of creating folders by using the drag and drop gesture. Apps can also be closed from the multitasking screen by swiping. The web browser has been updated and allows users to toggle between the mobile and desktop version of the site and pages can be saved and viewed offline at a later time.
Other features include the ability to save and access content from the SD storage, commonly used functions are kept on the top of the screen for quick access and a camera update which brings improved editing features and functionality.
