Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX receives Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, allows device to become first with Verizon’s LTE global roaming
The Motorola Droid RARZ MAXX is receiving the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update starting today. Verizon has kept their promise to bring ICS to their handsets by the end of the second quarter, but it comes just days before the next big Android update – Jelly Bean
The ICS update brings all the new features you will expect, including Face Unlock and the Direct Access Lock Screen which lets quickly get to your camera and other apps.
Another great addition with ICS is that the Droid RARZ will become one of Verizon’s first 4G LTE global roaming handsets. This will allows you to enjoy voice and data in over 220 countries around the world with your device as long as you have an international plan of course
Remember that they update can take a couple of days to roll out to all the devices, so go to settings and check for updates if you have yet to receive an update notification.
