Samsung Galaxy S receives Android 2.3.5 software update


The original Samsung Galaxy S has received a firmware update which takes it's onboard Android version to 2.3.5. The update will bring all the security and performance improvements you can expect from Android firmware updates. Better battery performance and improvements to the messaging app are expected with the update.

You are advised to backup your data before performing this update as it has been reported that the update could wipe your apps and data.
