Facebook's new unified mobile website

Facebook is available to iOS and Android users in the form of applications. But most mobile users also access Facebook through the social network's mobile website.

There were two ways to access facebook: m.facebook.com andtouch.facebook.com which was designed for advanced smartphones.

Facebook is going to switch to using only the m.facebook.com sit in future for mobile devices. Facebook says that the website will automatically adjust to your device and provide the best experience for the user. While the changes on the site may not be very noticeable they are definitely there.

The company promises an overall enhanced experience with their new UI framework which incorporates XHP (PHP with XML), Javelin (Facebook's javascript framework) and WURFL (open source mobile device database).
