Facebook now available for all web enabled phones

Not everyone around the world has smartphones....So not everyone has access to the Facebook App that is available for the iPhone and Android users. Facebook is making an attempt to bridge that gap by offering a solution.

They are launching app that will support more than 2,500 devices from Nokia, Sony Ericsson, LG and other manufactures, allowing users of those devices to navigate through Facebook, Sync their contacts and scroll through friend updates and even photos.

This app has been developed with close cooperation with Snaptu who will be distributing the App.

Very similar to the 0.facebook.com site which allows users to access facebook without paying for extra data, this new app will be available to users through 14 mobile operators listed below with free data access during the first 90 days after it is launched.
The following carriers will have access to the app from m.fb.snaptu.com/f on your mobile devices.
  • Dialog (Sri Lanka)

  • Play (Poland)
  • StarHub (Singapore)
  • STC (Saudi Arabia)
