The Galaxy S Blaze 4G is available in the U.S. through T-Mobile and runs on the carrier's HSPA+ network.

Samsung Galaxy S receives Android 2.3.5 software update

The original Samsung Galaxy S has received a firmware update which takes it's onboard Android version to 2.3.5. The update will bring all the security and performance improvements you can expect from Android firmware updates. Better battery performance and improvements to the messaging app are expected with the update.

Samsung Galaxy S Series boasts sales figures

Samsung continues its dominance in the Android world, boasting 30 million combined sales of it's Samsung Galaxy S and Samsung Galaxy S II. Out of these numbers 10 million belong to the Galaxy S II which just recently debuted in the U.S.

It isn't just the iPhone that sets the standards for smartphones these days, with it's huge 4 inch Super AMOLED displays the Galaxy S Series pushed all it's Android counterparts to churn out quality handsets.

Samsung Galaxy S receives Android 2.3.3 software update


Samsung is releasing Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread to the Samsung Galaxy S. It is being made available through Samsung's Kies servers in the Nordic countries, Holland and Germany, and should be available in the rest of Europe in the coming days.
