Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is now available through AT&T


Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7The is now available on AT&T for $99 with a two-year agreement. You a limited time, AT&T is giving their customers the opportunity to get the tablet for just $49.99 if they are willing to also purchase an .

The offer is only available while stocks last, but given that Amazon's first smartphone hasn't been all that successful, you will very likely be able to get in on this deal.

The Amazon Fire Phone features a 4.7 inch 720p HD touch display, up to 64GB of internal storage, a 13MP rear camera, a 2.1MP front camera and a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM.

If you are not interested in the Fire Phone, and don't want to be tied down to a contract you can also get the Kindle Fire HDX 7 for $0 down with $10 a month installment payments for 20 months. This will still require a separate service plan with AT&T. You can also purchase the device unsubsidized, sans contract for $199.99

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX features a 7 inch LCD display with a 1920 by 1200 pixel resolution, 16GB of internal storage, a front facing camera for video calls and a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 graphics and 2GB of RAM.

The Kindle Fire HDX like the Fire Phone runs a forked version of Android, with no access to Google Play or Google's services. You can still download all your apps and content through the Amazon App Store and you have access to several Amazon services if you are an Amazon Prime customer. Additionally you also gain access to Amazon's Mayday service, a video chat support service which is always available when you need assistance with your new tablet.
