The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available for pre-order to AT&T customers starting tomorrow, March 21. The Korean manufacturer's newest flagship features water and dust resistance with IP67 certification. It also comes with a heart rate monitor and fingerprint scanner. AT&T is offering the phone for $199.99 with a signed two-year contract.Those on the AT&T Next 18 plan can pay $25 a month, while AT&T Next 12 members will pay $32.50 monthly for the device. Without a contract, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available for $649.99. The carrier says that the phone will ship in early April, which will likely coincide with the April 11th release date set by the manufacturer in 150 countries.
Also available for pre-orders starting tomorrow are the Samsung Gear 2 and Samsung Gear 2 Neo smartwatches. The Tizen powered timepieces will be priced at $299 and $199 respectively. The Samsung Gear Fit health-tracking band can also be pre-ordered starting March 21st, priced at $199. All three devices are expected to be shipped early next month.
Starting tomorrow and running through June 5th (or until supplies last), you can take $50 off the price of a Gear 2 or Gear 2 Neo if you pre-order or buy either smartwatch at the same time that you purchase the Samsung Galaxy S5. The Gear Fit is not included in this promotion.
