Nokia is releasing a minor firmware update for the Nokia 206 and the Nokia 206 Dual-SIM. The updated firmware brings audio quality improvements along with general performance and quality improvements to the devices.The Nokia 206 (RM-873) will be updated to software version 4.53, which is being offered OTA to certain European operator variants such as T-Mobile Czech, T-Mobile Poland, T-Mobile Slovakia, Tele2 Slovakia,Tele2 Hungary and Cosmote Greece.
Meanwhile the Nokia 206 Dual SIM (RM-872) will be updated to software version 4.52 and the OTA update is being pushed to India, Pakistan and certain Middle Eastern countries.
Your devices will be updated to the relevant software versions from the previous 4.51 and will have the following new features and improvements:- Audio quality improvements.
- Fix for a pre-configured Gmail account not receiving incoming emails. (for RM-873)
- General performance & usability improvements.
Please note that the availability of the software updates are region specific, so it maybe awhile before it reaches all devices. If you don't have it already it should be available soon.
