The Alcatel OneTouch Idol Ultra, which is priced at $300 offers some decent specs for its price. These specs include a 4.66 inch touch display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, up to 16GB of internal storage an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary 1.3 megapixel HD camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. Alcatel has done a nice job with the design of the One Touch Ultra which is sleek, easy to hold and light in the hand.However it does come with some compromises like insufficient battery capacity, lack of a microSD slot and a problematic micro SIM slot, and the requirement of an adapter to plug in a standard headphone set.
