Motorola RAZR i receives Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software update in the UK

Motorola has announced that they are rolling out the  software update for the Motorola RAZR i. The device is the first mainstream Android device to be powered by an Intel Medfield processor which is clocked at 2GHz. The RAZR i features a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED touch display, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD and an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture.

The update is bring rolled out in phases with users in France and the UK reporting to have received OTA notifications.

Android Jelly Bean will bring several new features and improvement including Google Now, Voice Search and improved notifications. The device will also benefit from the performance improvements courtesy of Project Butter. You can read more details on the Jelly Bean update for the RAZR i here.
