AT&T has held exclusivity to Nokia’s current flagship the Nokia Lumia 920 since its launch. Now a report suggests that Verizon will also get its own high-end variant, which is currently code-named Nokia Laser and will launch later this year. This Verizon device is expected to feature similar specifications to the Lumia 920 and launch alongside a device code-named Nokia Catwalk.The device is also expected to feature a aluminum body unlike the current poly-carbonate devices to improve size and portability. The report also suggest that Microsoft hoped to back the Nokia Laser for Verizon very heavily possibly with the hope that the carrier can offer Windows Phone the same success Android achieved with its Droid Series.
