LG Lucid for Verizon will receive a software update



The LG Lucid for Verizon will be receiving a new software update which brings software version VS840ZV8 and several new features and improvements. The Lucid 4G features a 4 inch touch display, 5 megapixel camera which is capable of capturing 1080p HD video, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, LTE connectivity and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor.

The update brings enhances customer support with Verizon’s Remote Diagnostics. The update also adds a file manager to the device which allows you to manage files in your online storage. It also brings Verizon’s Watch & Learn streaming videos which help you navigate through the features of the device.

Additionally the Guided Tour has been renamed to Help and the Adobe Flash Player will be updated to version 11.0 to improve your performance and compatibility with Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

Users should also notice an improvements in voice clarity during phone calls after the update along with the ability to turn on the LCD backlight during a voice call by pressing the power button.
