Motorola Xoom All in One tool for rooting, unlocking, backup and more…

XDA Developers Forum member XxLordxX has released an all in one tool for the , which allows you to easily root, unroot, install ClockworkMod Recovery and even unbrick your device.

Full instructions on how to use the tool follows:

The tool is very easy to use and requires you to make inputs into a command prompt window. The full list of the available features are as follows:

  • Complete Backup Tool
  • Bootloader Unlocker Tool
  • Bootloader Locker Tool
  • Install CWM
  • Restore Tool
  • Root Tool
  • Unroot Tool
  • App Install
  • Unbrick Xoom Tool
  • Dual Recovery Tool

  • Ensure your device is adequately charged before you proceed with the tool.
  • Please make sure you perform a before you continue.
  • This tool only works on Windows PCs.
  • Download the Lord AIO Tool and extract it (C:\LAIOT)
  • Download and install Motorola Xoom drivers for Windows.
  • Download stock files for your Motorola Xoom (required for unrooting or unbricking your device using the AIO tool).
  • Make sure the USB Debugging is enabled on your device from Settings > Developer options.
Run the LordAIOTool.bat file once your have connected your device to the computer. You can follow the onscreen instructions for the various steps.

If you have installed the latest Android versions as an OTA update, the Rooting process may fail, this may require you to manually restore a stock version of Android before proceeding.


Installing ClockworkMod Recovery

This tool lets you easily install Clockworkmod recovery. In order to successfully install CWM Recovery, you may have to unlock your bootloader.

[NOTE] Unlocking the bootloader will result in your device being wiped, so please make sure you take appropriate backups before you continue.


Rooting

Users who are looking to root their device, will have to first install CWM Recovery. Sometimes you may receive a message stating that the SD card wasn’t detected during the rooting process. In this case just click Try again and it works fine.
