Max Payne for Mobile gets release dates

A few months ago we reported that Max Payne would be coming to the mobile platform. Now it has been made official by the developers at Rockstar and we now know that the iconic game will be coming to Android and iOS in April 2012


Max Payne Mobile will arrive for iOS on April 12, 2012 and will be available on Android on April 26, 2012 - 2 weeks later. Unfortunately there is no news of a Windows Phone version, which is disappointing considering the efforts from Microsoft and Nokia to promote the platform.

The game will be the original PC version of Max Payne now optimized and ported to the mobile platforms  with support or HD graphics, high resolution textures, Social Club integration and user customizable controls.

The following iOS devices will be supported for Max Payne Mobile
  • iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S
  • iPod Touch 4
  • iPad 1, iPad 2 and new iPad
While Rockstar has still not announced the compatible Android devices stay tuned on our Facebook and Twitter accounts and we will update you with a list when it is released.
