Apple has discounted the Apple iPad 2 in favor of the new iPad and now it seams like they are offering an even bigger discount on the original iPad.
The tablets which are available are through the Apple refurbished store and an additional $100 has been discounted from the previous selling price bringing the original 16GB iPad down to as low as $299.
While $299 is still more expensive than the Amazon Kindle Fire which at just $199 offers a dual-core processor and more memory.
If you have been waiting for a low cost iPad this may be the chance to get your hands on one. Given that the refurbished Apple products come with a 1-year warranty and new bodies, this may be quite a worthy investment.
