The Barnes and Noble Nook Tablet is now available in an 8GB model for just $199. The device still features the same 7 inch display with a low glare and improved near 180 degree viewing angles. It has 16GB of storage on the device which can be expanded with microSD and 1GHz processor.
By adding an 8GB model at a lower price B&N feel they can offer better competition for the Amazon Kindle Fire.
The Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet offer great integration with Netflix, Hulu Plus and Pandora along with their own online services making them the biggest competitor to the iPad and more popular than the Android tablets in the market.
