Sony has been teasing their upcoming tablets for a couple of months now and we have now been given information on pricing and availability of the first Android tablets from Sony.The Sony Tablet S with it's 9.4 inch display will cost $499 for the 16 GB version and $599 for the 32 GB edition. The device will add it's own flavor on top of Honeycomb and feature an infrared transmitter and DLNA compatibility. The Tablet S will only feature a Wi-Fi module but won't have 3G or 4G connectivity.
The smaller Sony Tablet P with it's clamshell design will be available through AT&T in both a Wi-Fi only and 4G LTE models. The dual 5 inch displays promise alot of new experiences for the end user and Sony promises to deliver some innovative user experiences in the form of apps. While the pricing in the U.S. has not yet been revealed for this device it is being sold at €599 ( $865) in Europe.
