We have already gotten a couple of glimpses of the upcoming Crysis 3, first in the form of a teaser trailer, then a second trailer which detailed the gameplay. The game will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC, but it’s the PC gamers who will be most interested to know what kind of resources this standard setting game will require.
The Crysis series which is powered by the Crytek CryEngine has always pushed the computer’s graphics boundaries and as expected the latest title will continue to do so. Electronics Arts has released the recommended system requirements for your PC, so you can get your systems ready in time for the game’s launch.
The minimum requirements include the latest version of Windows (Vista/7/8) on your computer with DirectX 11 and a graphics card with at least 1GB of VRAM. A dual-core processor should be the minimum for powering your PC, while a quad-core would be better with at least 4GB of RAM.
If you have a quad-core processor with 8GB or more RAM and a quad-core or better graphics card, you will be able to enjoy Crysis 3 on your PCs.
