The refurbished Apple iPad mini with Retina Display is now available for purchase through Apple's online stores. As you may know, the refurbished iPads are considerably cheaper than the retail iPad mini with Retina, which is priced at $399 for its 16GB model.
The 16GB refurbished version is being sold at $339, while the 32GB will cost $419 and the 64GB will set you back $509. Even though they are still pricier than Android tablets, its still a decent price for an iPad.
Refurbished iPads are fully tested and certified by Apple with a new battery and outer shell installed. You also get a one year warranty with a refurbished unit, much as you would get with a regular iPad.
It looks like models with LTE are not available at this time, so if you don't find the storage configuration you want among the Wi-Fi only models, you will have to wait and see if more models are made available. Keep in mind that these stocks are based on availability.
