Maxthon updated across Android, iOS and Windows Phone

The Maxthon "cloud browser" has been updated across iOS, Android and Windows Phone. Maxthon is known for its dual-engine (Webkit and Trident) design and integrated "cloudy" services - Cloud Push (sends content across platforms to nearby devices), Cloud Share (sharing of web-content with friends), Cloud Download (download manager with automatic cloud back-up), My Cloud Tabs (automatic syncing of tabs across platforms), and Cloud Sync (syncing of account data to other devices).

Maxthon for iOS has been updated to version 4.5.0, bringing the compulsory iOS 7.0 redesign, new start page for iPhone, redesigned multi-tabs, customized news feed timeline, and local media content for 15 countries.

Maxthon for Android has been updated to version 4.1.7.2000 and brings the following new features and improvements

  • Showing information in a new tab in first running.
  • Fixed the link activation issue on some web pages
  • Fixed some crashes on Galaxy Note2
  • Fixed the Night Mode display issue in NewsBites
  • Fixed the crash in inconsistent network environment
Maxthon for Windows Phone has been updated to version 1.1.0.1000, bringing a better-performing Time Tabs Design, comprehensive optimization, and a button for a quick return to the Home page.
