Apple may be facing heavy competition in the smartphone market, but they are still the top choice for tablet owners. Now with their newly released
Apple iPad Air, they are hoping to take their dominance one step further. The newest iPad is thinner and lighter than its predecessors with updated hardware coupled with the
iOS 7 experience keeps it just out of the grasp of its competitors.
While it does face competitors like the
Google Nexus 10 and the
Microsoft Surface 2, which both happen to be cheaper than the iPad Air, Apple's app ecosystem is still the most dominant in the tablet market.
