You'll also have to activate a Mobile Share plan for your new tablet, giving you access to cellular data on the device for an extra $10 per month.However as you can see the requirement for the $10 per month plan will ensure that you will have to pay a total of $240 over a span of two years even though you get the device for free.
The network also announced a new trade-in promotion, offering a $100 promo card whenever you bring in an older eligible smartphone and leave with a new handset on AT&T’s Next plans. The promo card comes in the form of store credit that can go toward a new connected tablet, an accessory or your wireless service bill. AT&T is also still offering $100 off any new tablet when you get it with a two-year contract with data.
