Windows Phone 'Amber' update demonstrated on Nokia Lumia 920


We recently learned that the Windows Phone Amber (GRD2) update maybe headed to devices in August. Now a leaked video shows an early build of the Amber update running on the Nokia Lumia 920 which shows the new on-screen clock which is displayed when the device is sleeping. Other features including double tap to wake, flip-to-silent and the ability to add wallpers from SkyDrive are also demonstrated.

The Amber update will also make the FM radio available for the device which have the hardware. The Datasense feature, which has been exclusive to Verizon customers will be made available across more carriers and will let you know when its time to pay your monthly bill along with with apps consume the most data.

Nokia Lumia smartphones will also receive the Smart Camera apps which brings features liek Action Shot which allows you to photograph moving subjects and produce photo tracking an entire sequence. The app also allows you to change faces on a portrait until you find the best photo out of the lot.
