LG offers 50GB of free cloud storage for their Android devices


LG Android smartphone users in the U.S. can redeem an offer for 50GB of free cloud storage on their devices. The storage comes courtesy of Box.com and you can hold onto the free storage for life for owning an Android phone from LG.

In order to be eligible for the offer, you will have to live in the U.S. and your device has to run Android 2.1 or later and have a HVGA (320 x 480 pixels) resolution. Also the offer is available to users who register before December 31 2012 if they don’t already have a Box account.

The offer coincides with the released of a new Android version of the Box.com client. The update adds the ability to download files form the cloud onto your smartphone or tablet. It also allows you to mark files for offline use and allows you to send multiple files to the cloud with a few easy steps.
