A photo of the Nokia Lumia 822 and the HTC Windows Phone 8X with Verizon branding have been recently revealed, validating the reports that these devices were headed to the nation’s largest carrier. Both devices are reported to be headed to Verizon on November 8th with the Lumia 822 costing $99.99 while the HTC 8X is priced at $199.99 with two year contracts.
The report also suggests that a Samsung manufactured Windows Phone 8 device was also headed to Verizon and will be priced for free on contract. We know this cant be the premium Samsung ATIV S, but we have still to hear of another WP8 device from the manufacturer.
With AT&T rumored to have delayed their Nokia Lumia 920 launch to November 11th from November 04th, Verizon has a chance to step ahead of their competition with an early launch of their own Windows Phone 8 devices.
