Both devices cost $199.99 on contract for their base models, but one could argue that the LG Optimus G would win some merit on its advanced specifications. However Apple has find tune the iPhone for optimal performance on iOS and it will finally come down to the users personal preference between the simple and straightforward experience with iOS compared to the customizable experience with Android.
