HTC Inspire 4G for AT&T receives (3.20.502.2) software update

The for AT&T is receiving a software update which takes the software version to 3.20.502.2. The update is reported to offer call optimizations, improved security and background data enhancements.

To get the update head over to Settings > AT&T Software Update and Check for updates. If you haven’t received the notification just give it some time as it may be a while to roll out to all devices. The full change-log follows:



New features:
  • HTC Sense 3.0
  • Task Manager
  • AT&T Address Book
Fixes/Updates:
  • Call optimization improvements (fewer dropped calls)
  • Improved security functionality
  • SMS/MMS Thread – Contact Display Fix
  • Background Data Use Improvement
With the not in line for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the chances of the Inspire 4G getting ICS or higher are very slim. However anyone still using Inspire 4G will be happy with any update that brings improvements to their device.
