Mozilla has released Firefox 15 which comes less than 15 days since the release of Firefox 14. The new update which is available for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android has several new features and improvements and can be downloaded through the Firefox Software Updater by clicking Firefox > Help > About Firefox or by using the link which follows.
Mozilla Firefox 15 has the following new features and improvements
- Silent, background updates.
- Support for SPDY networking protocol v3.
- WebGL enhancements, including compressed textures for better performance.
- Localization in Maithili.
- Memory optimizations for add-ons.
Mozilla has also released Firefox 15 for Android which offers tablet support among several other improvements.
