The Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the HTC Vivid has now been made available to customers through AT&T and HTC. This makes the HTC Vivid the first AT&T device to receive the Android 4.0 ICS update.
The update will be made available to HTC users OTA (Over the Air) and will offer all the security and stability improvements which are offered with Android ICS.
The update also brings HTC Sense 3.6 and the Beats Audio enhancements. You will also find improved email and exchange support, the ability to use a Bluetooth mouse or keyboard, better voice and text input and face unlock.
Users have pointed out that you will have to connect your device to headphones or speakers in order to fully enjoy the Beats audio experience.
