Nokia 808 Pureview coming to the U.S. after all, now available on Amazon


Nokia has been teasing us over the last couple of days, suggesting that the was making its way to the U.S. By setting the date as the same as Microsoft’s Major announcement today, we even expected the two companies had managed to ready a Windows Phone version of the Pureview for us.

However it turns out that the Nokia 808 Pureview will indeed be coming to the U.S. as Nokia has now updated their U.S. website to feature the camera centric smartphone.


There was a time that we thought we will never see a Symbian device be offered through official channels in the U.S again. Especially with the company’s focus on Windows Phone. There were however reports of the 808 Pureview being offered as an unlocked version through various online retailers, similar to the .

The Nokia 808 Pureview features a huge 41 megapixel sensor, a 4.0 inch touch display with Gorilla Glass protection, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD and is powered by a 1.3 GHz processor with 512MB RAM.

The device will be available in Red and in Black and you can sign up on the Nokia 808 Pureview product page, for news on availability.
