Asus Padfone available in the U.S. through Negri Electronics

The Asus Padfone is an all-in-one combination of a smartphone, tablet and laptop and can now be purchased in the U.S. through Negri Electronics for $859.50. The device which has been one year in the making was expected to debut last year, but was later delayed due to a processor shortage.

The Asus Padfone features 4.3 inch touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera in the rear, a front facing camera for video calls up to 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM.

The included tablet accessory transforms the smartphone into a 10 inch tablet and adds a 6600 mAh battery. While the phone is docked you can still receive calls and use the radios through the tablet.

Unfortunately the $859.50 price tag does not include the  QWERTY keyboard dock for the tablet. We do feel that adding the keyboard dock would have sweetened the deal but we hope Asus keeps the keyboard price low enough for anyone who wants to get all three.

If anyone is looking to get their hands on the Asus Padfone our advise would be to hold on a few months until the price drops to a more reasonable sum. But those who are willing to spend the extra and get the PadFone can buy it by clicking the source image / link.
