Motorola Droid X2 receives (1.3.418) software update


The has received a software update (1.3.418) which brings some new features and improvements along with an updated version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread (2.3.5) which offers the latest security patches from Google.

The Droid X2 features a 4.3 inch touch display, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM.

The update will be available to Motorola Droid X2 users Over the Air and users will be notified when it is available for your device.

  • Users are allowed to save and set purchased ringtones
  • Adds support for the Wireless Alerting System

While the Motorola Droid X2 users cannot expect  anytime in the future, but any update which improves features or security on your handset is always welcome.
