Asus Transformer Pad 300 available for pre order on Amazon

The Asus Transformer Pad 300 is set to launch in the U.S. on April 22 and Amazon is now offering the opportunity to pre-order the quad-core powered Android Ice Cream Sandwich tablet.

The device which is available is the 32GB blue variant of the device and it is priced at just $489.99. .

The Asus Transformer Pad 300 features a 10.1 inch touch-screen display, 8 megapixel camera, 16GB storage and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

The device educes the price tag from the by replacing aluminum with a plastic frame and putting on a little extra weight and will run Android Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.

[UPDATE] The device pricing has officially been released and will be priced at $399 with the 16GB model costing $379.
