Google has released an update to their Maps for Android to version 6.0. Having covered everything outside Google has taken Maps indoors. This will be very useful in large malls or airports which are filled with small shops or kiosks.You can download the latest version of Google Maps directly on your Android device from the Android Market of by using the link which follows:

With the new Google Maps when you are inside a mall or airport in the United States of Japan you will be presented with a floor plan. Earlier version would have displayed a blank area where a large building is, only pointing out there an important location may be in the vicinity.
All large retail stores can be a part of this experience and Google will allow these retailers to upload their own floor plans to the service.
