Apple iOS 4.3 released


Apple has released it's final version of iOS 4.3 today. This update is available for the Apple iPhone 4(GSM only), iPhone 3GS, iPad and iPod Touch 4/3. The iPad 2 will come with this version of iOS when it is released on 11th March 2011.

You can get the update using Apple's iTunes software on your Mac or PC by connecting your iDevice.

This version of iOS brings a number of new features for your iDevices including:
  • Cancel the download of an app
  • multi-touch gestures for iPad (developers only)
  • Personal Hotspot for GSM iPhone 4
  • AirPlay for third party apps
  • Option of choosing between muteswitch and rotation lock for iPad's mute slide switch.
  • subscription based payments to iTunes App Store.
  • Nitro Javascript engine from Safari on OS X.
  • iTunes home sharing features
  • Facetime support for iPad 2
  • Photobooth for iPad 2
