Barnes and Noble has reduced the price of their B&N Nook Tablet, now offering their flagship tablet at $179 for the 8GB variant and $199 for the 16GB variant.
The Nook Color has also received a $20 discount and now costs just $149.

The B&N Nook Tablet is the successor to the B&N Nook Color and runs a customized version of Android Gingerbread. The device features a 7 inch display with a low glare and improved near 180 degree viewing angles. It has 16GB of storage on the device which can be expanded with microSD and is powered by a 1GHz processor.
Barnes & Noble have retained the original look of the Nook Color in their brand new Nook Tablet, but have greatly improved in the hardware inside to match it with some of the top tablets in the market. While it may not cater to the range of users looking at iPads and Android tablets. It is more of a threat to the Amazon Kindle Fire in the e-Reader class.
