The last we heard regarding WebOS was that HP CEO, Meg Whitman would be giving her decision on the mobile OS in the next two weeks. It looks like that time has come as the CEO has called a all hands meeting to discuss teh fate of the platform.Whitman has said that WebOS would require a significant investment for it to be successful, and that HP had already spent alot of money on the platform without gaining a suitable outcome.
We should hopefully have the answer of the fate of WebOS by tomorrow, at the conclusion of the meeting. Reports of selling the OS to a bidder seams like a big possibility at this point.
